such a great little beach--wish some of the funk remained, like Barbara's By The Sea and Pete's original Seaside cafe. Yes, even The Lighthouse. The old RR bridge. *sigh*

I love Avila!! I have been swimming there since 1946. Seedlady--Oh yes I remember it well. I miss the ambiance it used to have, but I still swim there every Sunday.
