It could be a very clever way to keep the trunk from being searched? With those IV kids, you never know... up to no good, could be anything in the trunk. Of course, you're still getting a ticket for the license plate being not visible... but hey. Now what kind of bees would they bee if they were involved with that kind of thing? Stoner-bees, Meth-bees... not bees I'd want pollinating MY fruit trees! You just never know... but wondering sure can be fun.

@864 Probably by giving the bees what they are searching for: a new home. The beekeepers set up a portable box with frames of wax ----move-in ready condition. Bees migrate into the box, box is set up as a new hive, nuisance is solved, and everyone is happy.

I left work in Ventura and once on the freeway my carpooler and I noticed a bee clinging to the windshield. He made it all the way to Santa Barbara and somehow held onto the glass at 65 mph. Once we got there and stopped at a light, he let go and flew off.

If I would have noticed him before I got going, I would have shooed him off so he could have a shot at getting back to his hive. Such great creatures!

866 - really really bad idea. We need bees or we get no fruit. They are the pollinators. Either just leave them alone until they move on, or call SBBA: 805.699.6229 to come get them or recommend someone else in the area who will.

This looks like a swarm: bees on the move, looking for a new home, and generally not aggressive.

SBBA: 805.699.6229

Not-for-profit. If you're in their area, they will send out a volunteer to help deal with it, no charge!

Time to break out the power washer. Those bees will be in the ocean soon.

If you ever noticed a yellow spot on your windshield, this is from a bee. I never knew about this until recently. Now how would one get rid of the bees on a car like this. Yikes!

Please don't let anyone harm them! Bees are having such a hard time of it, of late. Get hold of Santa Barbara Beekeepers, if the bees don't leave on their own within a timely fashion.

SB Beekeepers will help you.

Now we know where the term 'bee-hind' comes from.
