The 99cents store has better surveillance equipment than banks. Should we be worried about banks?

Shorebird's sure right - the best quality I've seen, never even noticed cameras there.

Damn-I've got to agree with the above commenters. Great photos! And timely too. Looks like she should just turn herself in!

What a sleeze! This is a reminder to everyone with smartphones to get the "where is my iphone" or "where is my droid" apps!

632 means the "Find My iPhone" app, and although it's not fool-proof (thieves can disable it unless you act quickly), it's still a good app to have if you realize quickly enough after your iPhone has been stolen.

she made a bad decision....hope she learns ....to bad for her. Was the phone just laying there or did she pick it off someone earlier. she looks like she could still be a good kid. she has a chance.

It's not a "bad" decision. It's a CRIMINAL decision to steal. A bad decision is to eat until you puke or to wear white after Labor Day.

One inherently knows they've done wrong when they take something as their own that neither belongs to them nor was given to them. To find an object that is out of place and attempt to put that object in the correct place is the right thing to do. Ahh, young Padowan,,, you have chosen poorly.

...And to anyone who cares: To the untrained eye, it's very difficult to identify a true criminal shoplifter; even a recreational one!!! You can't always judge a book by its cover.

One more,,, notice her body stance while looking at the phone. One hand is holding it, the other is fixed upon her hip---as if in disapproval. She KNOWS that phone is not hers. She's trying to project to anyone who sees her (not necessarily watching for l.p. reasons) that she is not happy about being connected with that phone. This is a non-verbal psychological attempt to dissuade any potentially 'uncomfortable' attempts of interrogation. The only relief of completing a bad deed is exitation. So she splits. And this is where the law comes in. Geez,, I don't think this is her first rodeo in the arena of bad behavior; I can only hope that it will be the last.

The first picture in the series seems to be the last picture taken, she's got both hands on her sunglasses to prevent them from being stolen. After all, she KNOWS that stuff gets stolen in that store.

Everyone knows how to spot these 'hidden' cameras right? They are easy to see if you know what to look for, a round, black bulb like device hanging from the ceiling. I like to waive hi to them to let watchers know I know they are watching me.

To 332684, why do you find it necessary to bring politics into this? A thief is a thief is a thief, and by the way, there are plenty of thieves and scoundrels that vote YOUR way—you can count on it.
