Just heard on the scanner that the Incident Commander was requesting a full closure of 154 as "lookie-loo's" were impeding operations. Better to go around on the 101 and stay out of the way.

I have lived through multiple fires here and nothing irritates me more than people who do not live in the fire area traveling there for viewing purposes. The roads up there are small and the fire and forest service needs as much space as possible to work. If you are not a homeowner get out of there, your presence is deterring people fighting the fire at a more rapid pace having to navigate around your traffic and cars. You should all be arrested and cited, land, wildlife, and homes are being threatened and you have no right going up there to take video or shoot photos, it only hinders the efforts to get this fire under control before the sundowner winds.
