If you happen to be upwind or around the slight curve, it's easy to get surprised by the train. It's happened to me more than once because those trains fly.

091...I have always wondered about that myself. Also why don't they feel it on the tracks? That has to be very hard on the conductor.

Those train horns are pretty loud, even if you are wearing headphones. I wonder how the victim didn't hear it coming.

A friend On the train posted on fb... They're near la conchita. The Conductor is traumatized, so they have to wait for a new co doctor, as well as the coroner. They're requiring passengers to stay on the train. So sad, glad the passengers are safe.
