@ the two commenters ( 946 & 969 today) who ALWAYS refer to people who read roger's posts and the uh's posts as "voyerus" and believe that reading the stories is a form of "voyeurism" please educate yourselves. the dictionary defines voyeurism as: noun "the practice of obtaining sexual gratification by looking at sexual objects or acts, especially secretively."
it is doubtful that many/any of the good folks reading roger's scanner reports or posts about accidents is deriving ANY sexual gratification by doing so. perhaps what you two - or the same person with two different e-mail accounts - really mean(s) to say is that YOU find reading those posts a turn-on, and you guess others are as kinky as you. maybe you have a problem with the internet and you should take up other, more healthy pastimes. like playing bingo or stamp collecting.

And here I've been going around telling people I'm a voyeurer SICK! I didn't know that...Well you know what they say about people that call other people names? There's three fingers pointing right back at them.. I do get paid it averages out to .40 cents an hour..I know I'm greedy. I really like the comments though they are a benefit Purpose I have purpose..Will my little buddy has wandered off I'm quite worried about him I have to go back to looking for him I'll be back in a bit..Thank You everyone.

I like Roger's news (facts) but I don't like his editorializing. I hesitated to renew my paid membership because of some of his rants. I suspect Roger is an intelligent man who purposely misspells/misuses/makes up words. Stick to the facts and he provides an important but often depressing account of our fair city.

My pleasure, Roger. I truly appreciate your breaking news. Anytime I hear a weird noise or see a bunch of cop cars, I go to edhat to investigate. There's no need to leave the safety of my house to head towards the scary noise or to become the annoying person who attempts to spy on police activity in passing when you have Roger reporting the scanner 'gossip'. :) RH
