Don't forget Telegraph, they won two medals as well, a silver for their Rhinoceros in the Belgian Style Strong Specialty Ale category and another silver for their Petite Obscura in the Experimental Beer category. Think globally, drink locally!

First Firestone then Fig Mtn. now Island I'd say the central coast isn't about just wine anymore. Congrats Island Brew! Keep up the good work

It is gratifying to see local brews winning competitions. In the 80's, we tried to open a brewery on state, but lacked enough money. It was during the severe drought and the angry poodle derided the notion that good brew could be made here. "Just when you were spitting the rocks from your last glass of water, someone wants to open a brewery." Drink this rabid poodle!

Great job folks. Island and Fig Mtn are the best beers around. Congratulations.
