The corridor is dangerous. On ramps are not safe. Posilipo is a good example and Caltrans doesn't admit the gravity of the situation. Decreasing the speed limit could help. The two northbound on ramps in Carpinteria are treacherous. Again... Caltrans down plays the situation.
The squeaky wheel gets the grease, folks. Complain to the Supervisor.

There have been alot of accidents today in the county several ped vs vehicle over the weekend.

I always had a problem going sbound with people not accelerating as they approached Sheffield. I did use to mutter "It's a hill, people!" And yes, I was referring to the kid in the other call.

So many sirens I had to check it out. I guess being near Cottage, I heard CHP sbound and AMR nbound. Sure am I glad I'm not driving sbound!

One injury was a fractured arm, I think the other was minor because he was a reporting party..

That seems like a dangerous stretch, for some reason. Between Sheffield and San Ysidro there are a lot of accidents on both sides. Sure hope the people involved are okay, but even if it's just minor fender stuff, what a bummer for those involved. Not a great way to end a weekend!
