He was a really special guy. Had several great chats with him. He was always "up". A "get it done" kind of guy with no fear of failure. We will miss him.

Larry and I spent a lot of good times together. Diving in Fiji was super fun. He was always up to something. Larry certainly lived life to the fullest. My blessings to the family.

And Larry was the first manager of Santa Cruz Island for The Nature Conservancy in 1988 after Carey Stanton died unexpectedly. Larry relocated from Fiji to the island. We met and remained friends all these many years. He was a prince of a man! My life is deeply enriched from our friendship.

Larry was a visionary. He was a man with the unusual mix of mastery in business and total humility. He was one of the most creative men I have ever met although he would tell you he didn't have a creative bone in his body. He was the best manager I have ever and will ever have. Loved by all his employees (all the good ones :-) at the Post Ranch Inn... he made us laugh, ponder, and work our asses off, all with enthusiasm. And now he has made us cry. Goodbye Larry, goodbye good man. We will miss your spirit, you fabulous style, you impish Irish grin, your unforgettable chuckle. A chardonnay cheers to you overlooking the ridge at sunset with Jinny at your side.
