Marbled godwit one of the coolest shorebirds. I like the second to last photo. So surreal looking, the white of the wave looks airbrushed. Nice pics.

Thanks 563P for the identification. I need to get a coastal bird book so I know what kind of birds I'm "shooting". Hoping today is just as great! Yes, early light is fantastic, especially with the clouds!

Beautiful photos - looked at them a number of times. The waves are awesome; the sky in the cloudy photos gorgeous (good aperture), and great birds. Composition in third last makes it my favorite.
