Something the story may have missed, is a huge thank you to Terri Anderson, the new President of the Santa Barbara Rescue Mission Women’s Auxiliary, for all her hard work leading up to this amazing event.

In the thumbnail version of the Sheriff's photo visible in the "vote for top picture" section, his shirt makes an interesting Moire interference pattern that looks zebra-ish. A bit off topic, I know.
