The thief drives a dark colored Toyota Prius (possibly Camry) and resides somewhere near the corner of Calle Rosales and Calle Manzanita. Following the theft of our muffler and catalytic converter, I was able to trail the suspect vehicle to this location before they vanished. Police have no way to search the property there but keep an open eye for your own safety.

Some motorcyclists say that loud mufflers save lives! Maybe the thieves are really altruistic highway safety supporters.

If your cat is missing, when you start your vehicle, it will be extremely loud. you will essentially have a section of exhaust before the muffler completely removed. Your vehicle will sound like a Harley.

I'm a tad embarrassed to ask this but how can one tell? The car won't start? I know there is a precious metal in the cc. I guess I COULD google and educate myself'

Not just in San Roque! My brother's Toyota had the cc taken earlier this week while on the street near Milpas.
