Yes it used to be "nudies to the right, suities to the left". Every once in a while someone would complain and the cops would hike down the trail and most of the time someone in the water would warn they were coming. If they came from the pit and caught us by surprise we would wait them out in the water. Remember the Surf Nude t-shirts? Summerland was another popular nude beach, but also with the guys with binoculars hanging out at the top. A good wrist rocket and a pile of rocks would send them scurrying.

@170 yes it was and I remember a sign or something painted Nudies Suities, left was nudies right was suities
