the aerial photo of sb is cool. the shoreline area of the mesa is almost unrecognizable. thanks for sharing :o)

My favorites are the two Malamutes (one jumping) at Hendry's and the hummingbird's nest. (IF ONLY Edhat would stop posting sideways photos on Flash Fridays!). As for the Shadow Bar (photo 8), I was hoping it was Spearmint Rhino. Always wanted to see the inside of that dive.

Re twobits. I just got this i think the V's may represent oil derrick sites or potential This Mesa rat has a lot old photos of the Mesa, harbor and SB. I got that one because it shows the area of my 1930s house and it is the only one I have seen of that era. If you or anyone is interested in getting copies of old photos, have Edhat forward my email and I will send his contact info.

Thanks! I've got aerials of the waterfront and Goleta from my dad who was a pilot and amateur photog in the 50's and 60's. There's one of the nursery at Wilcox. I should dig them out.
