WOW - that's really cool!! And, I was excited about my $2 dollar bills - having 100 of them with consecutive serial numbers!!! My stack of money is worth than the face value, but nothing compared to that $5 dollar bill !!! I also participate with the www.wheresgeorge.com site. where's george follows money.

ooopppssss !! I have never seen the new letters next to my name before and I accidently clicked on a letter and it said I voted on something... Then, I see the very fine print when I hold my mouse over each letter, and i may have flagged my posting with something... don't even know what..... !!!!

How about if Ed ads another letter next to my name, so I can "LOVE" the comment???? Or "LOVE it a LITTLE" bit ??

Who says the dollar is losing value? You just have to hold on to it for 100 years.

Very interesting story and slice of history. (LOL d8vanilla. I agree that the letters can be easily mis-clicked on. Maybe there should be a confirmation dialog for the voting.)

I love seeing stuff like this, very very cool. I feel as though we won't really have the same sentiment towards a lot of the items we use today when they age.

What would the $5 be worth if it had been put in stock of say Standard Oil, Ford, Harley Davidson, Monsanto, US Steel to name a few?
