My 5 year old Persian cat stopped eating 3 days ago (obviously she hasn't used the litter box either). Any
thoughts? Other than not eating she seems fine.......
UPDATE: Persian Cat not eating: Thanks for all the responses. I took her to the vet yesterday....she doesn't have very good teeth and her
gums looked infected & she also had a temperature. He gave her a shot of antibiotics & said to see if she starts eating again. I neglected to say that she is
an indoor cat & therefore didn't eat anything bad. She's on special food ($$) and has both dry & wet. She still is not eating this morning so I guess it's
another trip back to the vet.

MSSB - why so hostile to pet owners? I've read numerous posts of yours lately blaming owners for everything. Sometimes dogs get out of the house and sometimes cats don't eat - animals' actions are not always controlled strictly by there owners. I do agree though - get the cat to a vet ASAP.

Vet! Vet! Vet! Vet! Vet! Vet! Vet! Vet! Vet! Tonight! First thing in the morning at the absolute latest. For crying out loud, why do people ask for the advice of random strangers regarding things with such obvious and necessary courses of action? Not eating for several days is serious. It's not a "let me see what the internet thinks" situation. This isn't, "I saw a flea on my cat. What's the best way to get rid of them?" This isn't a car making a funny noise. It's a living creature apparently in distress.

Why do people post up questions & the answers are just basic common sense? Take the poor thing to the vet! Same thing someone else asked what the construction was in their area...freaking a go look! Use common sense people stupid postings such as those really are peddly & bug.
