From what I understand, a student driving northbound on Los Carneros from Isla Vista was busy texting when she came upon the intersection of Mesa Road, where she blew through the light and ran into three left turning vehicles. When I drove by at 8:25am there were people on stretchers laid out on the pavement. Please People! Do Not Text and Drive!!!!

There an accident entering UCSB from West Campus (along Los Carneros). Not sure of the details, but it took a couple extra minutes to get into work.
