Beautiful...I tried Saturday and Sunday with a Canon D-SLR using a 300 mm zoom lens - no definition - black and white - no craters. Tried auto, manual long shutter time, etc. Can OP advise what camera was used and if a filter was used ?- I am a novice photog, but would love to learn...

Beautiful photos. I have to say that for some reason the first one, which is a fantastic shot, reminds me of a mammogram! Ha ha, Maybe it's because I need to call and schedule mine!

Stunning. I saw the rise, and I too can see the setting from the back of my house. I love the brilliance, the brightness of the moon shine.
