Whaaaat???? NO lady wrestler?? That's a disappointment. But the boys are certainly a great looking group of guys. What a nice event for them. Thanks SBFD and Ed for all you do.

No cargo shorts! I am moving to Australia YESTERDAY!! I love it. Good guys dressed like human beings not luggage. Cool story.

I'm sure we do have multitudes of 'wonderful young men' like these in SB. What a great story, these guys will always remember their time here and I wonder how that will influence their lives. Our wonderful firemen deserve big thanks too for acknowledging the rescue these guys did by having the dinner and ride and celebration of them. Also, kudos to Edhat for being the first place the Aussie story got picked up. Love the Edhat t-shirt photo! We really depend on Edhat for first-breaking many stories and events going on in our town... :)

A little backstory on the 10Network part of this thanks to Urban Hikers (and Edhat posting it) saw this on Friday afternoon and sent to a friend who anchors at CNN-I, he used to work for 10Network and forwarded to them that night. If it wasn't for the the Urban Hikers and Edhat these young men wouldn't be getting their story shown back home where their friends and relatives can see what a great job they did on holiday. Thanks for the original story and the followup UH, and I hope those young men enjoy the rest of their trip!

UH, great story, thank you so much. I really appreciate your efforts. And thanks to the young men. I'm a little disappointed about the woman wrestler, though.

Great reporting job, Urban Hikers. I don't know if the local news channels covered this but if so I doubt it would have been such a thorough pictorial coverage.

Urban Hikers and Edhat rock!! Getting this story onto Austrailan T.V. is fantastic. I'll bet all this is the highlight of the young mens' trip. Imagine the surprise for their families and co-workers to see them on the news.

What about the two local boys who dove into the water off of Stearn's Wharf a few weeks ago to help save that guy? Did they get any special dinner?

At 623 - I sure hope so!!! They were very heroic boys. Unfortunately the man they tried to save died a day or two later at the hospital. I guess that story did't have such a happy ending. I hope the man who was hurt on Friday is getting better.

I wear cargo shorts. When you're a Dad you need the extra pockets.
