The last song of the evening was "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" and the AUDIENCE kicked ass!!!!!!!!!!! Great concert from three Titans of Rock & Roll.

When we were teens hanging out on Miramar Beach, I didn't even know David was interested in playing a guitar. His older brother, Chip, played drums locally. David was a nice kid, had a wonderful Mom. When he got into the bucks he bought her a house on E. Valley Rd. in Montecito; she was so proud of him.

David's father was academy award winning cinematographer Floyd Crosby (High Noon) who passed on some years ago, and his wife Betty Crosby (not David's mother) lived on in their Ojai hilltop adobe until this past week when she passed on peacefully. She was a mentor to me in the film business and always spoke of how dear David and his wife were to her.

I used to stand next to David when we were in Cappella at SBHS when I was a Sophomore.

Excellent show! People needed to get up and dance more though, everyone looked somewhat DEAD sitting there. WAKE UP SANTA BARBARA!

The concert was good. The venue not so much.

I think the reason people didn't "get up and dance" was that most of us were jammed like sardines in plastic seats designed for school children. One one side a 300 pound man; on the other a lady with 40 inch hips which spilled over into ours. When either person moved, we felt it. Why the crammed seats? Bowl admin not making enough money?

Last concert we sat next to a recent vet from Iraq who could barely sit with his prosthetic leg in an awkward angle which went across his space and 6 inches more into the neighbors.

We loved the old benches at the bowl where relaxation and involvement (ie dancing) was possible.

Anyone else feel the seats are too small?

They just put in new seats a few years back. I wonder if they added more (smaller) seats so that they could make more money? Anyway, I think the problem is more with the size of the people than the size of the seats.

The vet should have sat in the nice handicapped seats. He would have been comfortable there.
