(I pay the cheap, unemployed subscription rate and don't go to concerts.)

Great article Lauren! You captured the events truly as they were and wrote with a writing style that transported me back to the event. Listening to the music again gave me goose bumps. Mavis and Bonnie are the best there is no doubt.
And you my dear daughter are the best of the best. It makes being the ripe old age of 37 again bearable. Love you!

Having seen Bonnie numerous times , this second night of a back to back was her best local performance yet. She proves to us guys that older women can kick some butt and with tons of class. Her references to the vote this fall as the "auction" should resonate with people as did her wonderful music.

Great description of Bonnie and Mavis! A friend won radio tickets, we had a ball there. A warm-up for next week, family going to Further; another couple of old timers who still really rock.
