Wasn't sure at first if it was an actual address..Google search said it was Los Padres National Forest. Only discription I heard was that the reporting party touched him and he was stiff..

It was on Romaldo Rd. 2 Goleta police cars; 2 fire trucks. No one would say anything. They were there for a few hours. Any more info on what happened?

Romaldo Rd is off of West Camino Cielo. This incident was NOT close to where the Kinevan deaths happened decades ago. I saw police cars and fire trucks.

I remember that shooting..Thanksgiving was it? Early 80's 81? I was in Newhouse 2 by the C. Jail then..This one did not sound suspicous either just someone who passed on it sounded outside. That is why I posted it.

This is much closer to lizards mouth, where jesse james hollywood killing took place. I heard the gun shots the night that poor kid died. there are scary people up here at night.

Nothing creepy - a guest died in someone's home. We have a nice neighborhood up here on West Camino Cielo.

We have a beautiful neighborhood up here on West Camino Cielo. We love it! However, this incident was NOT on WCC it was on Romaldo Road which veers off of WCC. Romaldo Road is an official County Road.

Then excuse me for posting it..It sounded like the body was outside and I googled the area it looked to be outdoors even said Los Padres National Forest.

Why in the world would they send 2 firetracks for a dead body? In fact, why do they send a firetruck when just an ambulance is requested?

Romaldo Road is a private road which is accessed from West Camino Cielo. It is a very narrow dead-end road with many blind corners. Touristing is not advised.

Technically Romaldo Road is part of West Camino Cielo. Don't think it is private. We do not live in a gated community up here on the mountain- thank goodness. 2 Fire trucks came minutes after police car and the fire trucks did navigate the road.

Camino De Romaldo is not part of West Camino Cielo and is a privately owned and privately maintained road. Once you leave West Camino Cielo, at the mailboxes, you are on private property and are trespassing unless you live here or have permission to use the road. This is a FACT.

157 is correct and several of the residents enforce the no trespassing rule especially since that cult group bought the big ranch up there.
