"Vanguard Benefits", huh? Gee, no trying to leverage off the good name of the Vanguard Group, eh? That would have been an early LE clue.

Yup regulations aren't there to protect businesses but to protect ordinary citizens and employees from the excesses of businesses seeking to profit at any cost.

Good to know there was action against this insurance fraud. When a local insurance agent steered me into a company that eventually went under, the CA insurance commission was fairly toothless though the agent did lose his agency. My funds were tied up for years.
Corporations are people that pay for and obtain more influence than most of the average consumers. But that's what people said they want - government off the backs of businesses. Same goes for MCI phone stock holding I had - we all pay for these crimes. It will be curious how long a sentence will be served.
