"Whale-Killing Seismic Testing"??? That's surely not inflammatory.

I'm in complete agreement with 384, what are our other alternatives? Perhaps all the enviro-freaks shouldn't have called for the seismic testing in the first place if they didn't want a bunch of whales washing up on the coast.

I have another question. What about swimmers? I am a year round swimmer at Avila Beach. I do not wish to be deafened or have unknown problems due to this needless testing. The faults are a known danger. Accessing them is not necessary, at least in this form. The slaughter of protected wild life is unforgivable. The ocean life in this area is diverse and wonderful. To lose it entirely should never be an option.

Not just dead whales, but virtually all sea life in the open ocean plus the juvenile forms in the Morro Bay estuary 'nursery' which will also be affected, plus 6 miles of sand dunes to be used for "on-land" operations.

The potential for mass die-off is HUGE. Will we still be welcoming tourists to our seacoast villages to watch and SMELL the sealife washing up? How to dispose of multiple dead whales and sea lion carcasses? Oh Man!

this sure sounds like a lose - lose situation. a catastrophic earthquake will be bad news for the power plant; seismic testing or not. what's the point in murdering all these gentle, intelligent sea mammals?

Now that this reactor design is a proven threat to life, shut it down! No need to harm whales or humans.
