They achieved exactly nothing except earning the enmity of many of their fellow humans. It was annoying. I work 70 hours a week by choice - seeing stuff like Occupy did nothing but irritate me - maybe that was the point. Guess I better get back to work.

521, are we supposed to think you're superior for working 70 hours a week by choice? Everyone has a different life, that's part of what makes America the country it is. If you have an opinion you can voice it. How is that different than what you're doing? Live and let live. I'm not in agreement with the Occupy movement, but I don't have respect for anyone who thinks they're better than another fellow American based on ideology alone.

@664 "ideology alone?" You must not like the Pres. then. He just wants to make sure everyone gets a "fair shake." I see no where the respondent said he/she was Superior. It must make your ideology superior to attack the wealth creators. Ditto @275.

664 - I wasn't implying that I was superior - I was just stating my opinion about the Occupy thing - it was annoying - I stand by what I said - on an anonymous forum in a small nest mentality town - guess that says a lot about me doesn't it?

Occupy was set up to fail; infiltrated from the start. Nobody will change anything for the better by camping in muddy city parks - and the media will portray you with matted hair and muddy clothes. Way to go. Great strategy, NOT. While the media focus has (predictably) been on the superficial stuff, as above, the real criminals and parasites in the financial sector who have bled the nation of $Trillions in corporate welfare - in other words, capitalism being rescued by taxpayer funded socialism - get off scot free. All the attention went on criticizing some drunks, punks and hippies in the parks. This was a classic case of bait and switch, combined with sleight of hand.. and Occupy fell for it, hook line and sinker. They shot themselves in both feet.
