Great pics but not much of an article. I like The Stones but I saw them in 80's & they sounded like a train wreck..

Actually, DL has not been using heavy vocal affects live - watch the documentary (if you're really interested). They've got great vocal harmonies. Not a big fan, but it's true.

The vocals are heavily processed to all be in key and in harmony, with heavy effects added so they blend together. No touring rock band background vocals sound that good without fairly heavy processing. DL has been doing it for years. They don't sound like that without the processing, no way.

Philp Cullen is definitely a FILF. He is ripped. We were drooling over him all night. The whole band (Def Leppard) appears to be in great shape. Absolutely one of the best shows this season.

Phil Cullen is a FILF in my opinion because he gets that way by maintaining a vegan diet and staying active. Nothing is hotter than a compassionate, fit, active man.

@231 I agree the Stones could handle Def Lep musically, but not physically,.. their guitarist looks like he could snap Mick and Keith in half at the same time....

Is that guy with the funky guitar in the last photo Phil Collen? If it is ladies, would you consider him a FILF? I GIS'd Def and he has a son and two daughters. Now for the fighting words, The Rolling Stone (now affectionately called The Rolling Bones) could beat the pants off of Def back in the day.

156 I had thought in the past their vocals on the album were "produced". Saw a documentary - and no - they are just good and have great vocal harmonies. No lip syncing on Saturday. 200 Yes, same drummer. Cool, they played loud enough for the whole neighborhood, like a real rock show should.

Cool pics... Does Def Leppard still have the one arm drummer from back in the day?

Ha! I see myself in one of those photos :-) Nice pics, I'm envious of your position, as sweet as it is to be front and center it would be nice to be able to step back sometimes and also to able to shoot past the 3rd song (2nd for Def Leppard)

The sound check was so loud it sounded as if it was two doors down, and we live on Barker Pass. Seriously annoying on a peaceful Saturday afternoon!

I could hear them too and my house is all the way on the Westside below the Mesa. What's up with that? I can hear ALL the concerts, even when I don't want to. We think maybe one of our neighbors has a live feed somehow because we don't think it makes sense that we can hear it that far away...

I could hear them from my home, and it sounded good, almost too good... like I was listening to the album really loud. I'm of the opinion that Def Leppard was either lip syncing many of the songs, or they were singing over the pre-recorded tracks, because it sounded exactly like the albums.
