My event was supposed to say:
STAND UP for YES on 37
Saturday September 22 at 3pm Rally Join our peaceful show of support for "YES on 37", label genetically modified organisms in our foods. We have a right to know what we eat and what's in our food. Pick up yard signs and have fun! Corner of State and Anapamu.

Whatever you think about the genetically modified issue, this is really a larger-issue test to determine how strongly the electorate feels about labelling the contents of our foods/being sure of what's in our food. The food industry is paying attention to this one!
Probably wouldn't completely rule out ingredient fraud, such as we've seen recently from contaminated imported products like baby-milk powder, but at least there would be a means for control, right there in black and white on the packaging.
