Dear sweet ignorant OP....I do have a hobby...it consist of volunteering at our local shelter.....where many beautiful, loving, innocent dogs are waiting for furever homes. If you want to talk about self righteous...first go work one day in a shelter...you will fall in love with so many of these wonderful creatures you won't care if they were a total mutts....Then,take a look in the mirror..... in need of a "specific hybrid" Puleeeese....get over yourself.

Shame on you Dan for claiming credit. Or for at least giving credit in the wrong direction. Santa Barbara View bravely led the charge in early 2012 with a series of articles, calls, and efforts to restore the chromatic gate. Today, it is happening!. For Dan to share this here, in tones of progress is wrong. Give the glory to those advocates, people and outlets who have helped achieve this incredible restoration.

@610. You prove your ignorance. A few (ten yrs or so) years back a gang member from LA established a foothold here, for the 18th street gang, in a local pool hall. He extorted money from locals and threatened people with the guns that he carried. There were times when duffle bag(s) of guns were bought and sold after hours. And yes I said bags, as in multiple. I stopped going there right after I got my knee stoved in by a gang without provocation.
