I love Leonardo and Secret of Kells. Would have been my choice for opening film.
Thought Flying Lessons was provactive and yes heavy and disasterous as can be life around addiction and denial.

LOL Farrells....do they still exist? Didn't the servers
come by your table and sing if you polished off the
"trough"? Or maybe they rang a bell or tooted a
siren.....either way, they made a big deal about it and
wasn't the dish "free" if you could finish it? Theme
restaurants....where has all the "fun" gone? My fav
restaurants as a kid were the Hot Dog Show in
Toluca Lake where all the signage were weiner dogs
in buns with little halos.....you could have hot dogs
with sauerkraut & onions or chili. They managed to
compete with the popular Big Boy across the street
and the other was Chili Johns. Oh, yum!

SBWCN has no one to pay the loose animal fine. So they don't do anything with/for wild animals. I live on North Fairview near some schools and churches and we had a mountain lion walking around the back yard. I called SBWCN and they told me that there was no one to fine if they picked up the loose cat, so they weren't going to do anything.

Southern California Edison website:
link
Look Up, Look Out, and Live
"Remember to look up and look out for power lines when working outdoors. Contacting power lines can seriously hurt or even kill you.
Look up first and stay away from power lines when you are using aluminum ladders, tree trimming equipment, pool skimmers, poles for harvesting fruit, or other tools that extend above your head. Metal conducts electricity. You will receive a dangerous electric shock if you are holding a metal pole or ladder that comes into contact with power lines.
Never trim trees that have high-voltage power lines going through them, or touch any tree limb that may fall into a power line. For the health and beauty of your tree, and for your family's safety, we strongly recommend contacting a qualified line-clearance arborist to trim and maintain your trees -- especially trees near power lines.
Never build a tree house, climb in or play in any tree that is located near a power line. Never attach any steps, ladders, ropes swings or any objects that could assist in ascending a tree where power lines are present.
It is not uncommon for trees to fall during high winds, rain, and other stormy conditions. If a tree or limb falls into power lines, stay away from the line; do not remove or touch it. Call SCE's 24-hour emergency number, 800-611-1911, immediately."

Roger, Chilon runs parallel to Hollister, on the north side of Hollister, one block in. You can enter from S. San Antonio Rd. (the road that leads to the Goleta Cemetery), or you can enter from Puente. East of Turnpike, 2 blocks.
That area is not Santa Barbara City Police. It's the Santa Barbara Sheriff's Department.
It's good to know if the sheriff is paying attention to that general area. Close attention, hopefully.
And, Roger, good luck with your "Doc" today!

St. Francis Housing Meeting Highlights |

why build there? because Cottage owns St. Francis and that land. they also looked at converting the old hospital structure into the condos but the layout just didn't lend itself to homes, and that goes for rest homes too. besides the hospital building was old and would require major seismic retrofitting if it were to be used as a "rest home" or some such facility. as for the waste, they demolition will be recycling as much as possible the materials from the old hospital... and no i'm not a shill or employee of cottage.
