Downtown Live Art & Wine Tour Returns

May 23, 2019 @ 5:00 am PDT

When it comes to intriguing live art, fabulous wine and great food all in one evening, no one does it better than Downtown Santa Barbara (DSB). Bring your appetite for all three to the Downtown LIVE Art & Wine Tour Presented by The Towbes Group, returning on Thursday, May 23rd. Wear your comfy strolling shoes to visit select galleries and venues on State Street (and side streets) above Carrillo. An added benefit to your enjoyable evening with fellow art lovers is the knowledge that you’re assisting another great downtown tradition – all proceeds will benefit the Downtown Public Art Fund, supporting the State of the Art Gallery, Pianos on State, and exciting new projects.

All venues will host a LIVE cultural event paired with a restaurant and winery for you to savor. Venues include: 10 West Gallery, Bella Rosa Galleries, Colette Cosentino Atelier + Gallery, Distinctive Framing N’ Art, Ensemble Theatre Company at the New Vic, Fuzion Gallery & Boutique, Indigo Interiors, Santa Barbara Fine Art, Santa Barbara Museum of Art, State Gallery at Youth Interactive, Sullivan Goss – An American Gallery, and Yuliya Lennon Art Studio.

You’ll find a selection of fine wineries and breweries along your cultural journey: Au Bon Climat, August Ridge Vineyard, Buttonwood, E11even Wines, Grassini Family Vineyards, Institution Ale, La Lieff Wines, Lucas & Lewellen Vineyards, Margerum Wine Company, Sanford Winery & Vineyards, Santa Barbara Winery, and Windrun Wine. Stay tuned for more food/wine announcements.

Don’t panic, we’ll feed you – nibbles & nosh at every venue include: Bar 29, Bibi Ji, bouchon Santa Barbara, Brasil Arts Café, Carlitos Café & Cantina, The Cruisery, Hoffmann Brat Haus, Jane Restaurant, Lilac Patisserie, Little Kitchen, opal restaurant & bar, Pascucci Restaurant, Patxi’s Pizza, Roost Santa Barbara, Satellite Santa Barbara, and Soul Cal Smokehouse.

Following the self-guided tour, swing by the Final Party at the historic Arlington Theatre (1317 State) for more wine, food, music, dancing and fun. Thank us later for the feet-moving, finger-snapping music by Santa Barbara’s “Best Event DJ,” DJ Darla Bea, spinning the dance music you’ve been dying to boogie to all year. A silent auction will showcase wonderful gifts and packages, benefiting the Downtown Public Art Fund. One item to make you lean in – a $250 gift package from Santa Barbara Bowl, courtesy of Goldenvoice, with two tickets to Josh Groban (September 5, 2019). Tickets will also be available for the Best Raffle Ever: 52 Bottles of Wine! Stay tuned for more raffle fabulousness to come. To donate an item of value for the Silent Auction, contact April Lee: April@DowntownSB.org (805-962-2098, ext 803).

Tickets are $65 for the tour and Final Party. Tickets are on sale HERE. Tickets are limited, advance purchase is a must. Check-in begins at 5:15pm at the Arlington Theatre.
